Bands may be sounding out their tunes on stage in Royal South Street competition while high up in the rear of the balcony a delicate art form is taking shape at Her Majesty’s Theatre. Craftsmen are gradually restoring the ceiling to its full glory for the first time in 25 years. Work is impressive.
