V/Line confirmed the schedule on Thursday afternoon.
Hubs such as Footscray and Sunshine will be skipped because the stop-work action by the Rail, Tram and Bus Union over the expired bargaining agreement with Metro.
The strike will run from 10am to 2pm.
V/Line chief executive Theo Taifalos said there would be some disruption to those taking services from outside the Melbourne CBD.
“The message for V/Line customers is that we will be running our trains tomorrow but we will not be stopping at Metro stations,” he said.
“All inbound V/Line trains will terminate at Southern Cross Station. If you’re a V/Line customer and usually board at a Metro station, such as Footscray or Sunshine, you’ll need to make your way into Southern Cross using local bus services, trams or Metro bus replacements.”
