Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said paramedics had gotten the call-out for the corner of Vernons Road and Bowes Road at 4.44pm.
“It’s a two car accident...the man in his 20s is in a serious but stable condition, he’s got a head injury and a shoulder injury,” he said.
“(Paramedics reported) there’s a laceration to his head, to the back of his head.”
He was the only person transported to hospital.
