IT IS good to see prospective new councillors with excellent proposals.
The old three Rs need Resolution, Reinvigoration and Revisiting.
Rates: a price increase backdoor job with bracket creep.
Rubbish: no free kerbside annual hard rubbish bulk day nor free green waste collection for mulch.
Roads: the ubiquitous potholes are so deep you almost can abseil into them, and change down a gear to get back up out. Some are 800mm deep on measuring.
Proposed new R's should have rhyme and reason i.e. Restitution, Reconcile and Reinvent.
