WHERE better to shelter from the weather than in your mum’s feathers?
Reader Andrew Thomas was out for a run around the lake on Thursday afternoon when Ballarat’s fickle spring weather went south.
As the rain poured down, Mr Thomas spotted this tiny cygnet tucked up safe and sound under its mum’s wing.
“I caught this on the north side at the tail end of a hailstorm,” Mr Thomas said in an email to The Courier.
“Looks like a good place to escape the cold!”
