A 31-YEAR-OLD man will appear in Ballarat Magistrates Court today over an alleged stabbing in central Ballarat on Friday afternoon.
Luke Warren has been charged with intentionally causing serious injury to a 27-year-old woman, as well as other assault related offences. It’s alleged the woman was stabbed at the corner of Sturt and Lydiard streets, Ballarat about 2.40pm.
She sustained non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Ballarat Health Services Base Hospital in a stable condition after the incident.
Warren has already faced an out of sessions court hearing, and was remanded in custody to reappear in the Ballarat Magistrates Cout today.
