Police say they believe the human remains found in Bendigo parkland are that of missing Melbourne mother Simone Quinlan.

Missing Persons Squad Detective Inspector Jill Dyson said police carried out a large scale hunt of the Kangaroo Flat area on Wednesday.
"Approximately midday we located some items of interest, which late last night were identified as human remains," Detective Inspector Dyson said.
"We believe at this stage the remains are those of Simon Quinlan."
According to 3AW, the father of the missing 33-year-old was asked to identify the remains on Thursday.
Three men have been charged with the murder of Ms Quinlan, who disappeared on August 24, when she bought cigarettes and soft drink from a service station in Melton on Melbourne's western fringe.
It is alleged Ms Quinlan was murdered near Bacchus Marsh, about 14 kilometres west of Melton, the following day.
Melton men Wayne Marmo, 24, Brendan Neil, 28, and Dylan Jez, 23, have been charged with her murder.
