A man, believed to be in his late 30s, has died in Epping after his car struck a concrete drain on Saturday afternoon.

Victoria Police spokeswoman Kelly Grindley said the male driver, who was the only person in the car, died on the scene.
He is yet to be formally identified.
"It is believed a vehicle was travelling west on Craigieburn Road East when it lost control and crashed into a concrete drain about 12.45pm," Ms Grindley said.
"Police believe a Holden Commodore may have been travelling along Craigieburn Road East at the time of the crash.
"Investigators are keen to identify this vehicle and urge the driver to come forward as police believe they may have witnessed the crash."
Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said they received a call at 12.48pm about a vehicle having fallen into a ditch.

The crash brings Victoria's road toll to 189, the same as this time last year.
According to VicRoads west-bound lanes on Craigieburn Road, between Hume Freeway and Merri Creek were closed, with police directing traffic.
