He took out the Devils’ best and fairest ahead of teammate Nathan Lyons, who won the best on ground medal in the grand final.
Elsewhere, three prized signings for the 2015 season also reaped rewards, with a trio of recruits winning awards for their respective clubs.
Rowan Marshall won Sebastopol’s award, Steve Clifton saluted for Lake Wendouree and Nathan Horbury won Redan’s best and fairest despite missing a handful of games at the start of the year.
