GMHW’s annual art competition works are on show at Ballarat Community Health in Lucas until Tuesday. The exhibition features paintings, drawings, photography and sculptures.
Ballarat Indigenous artist Josh Muir, who won the Grampians art competition in 2011, is a national ambassador for this year’s ABC Mental As campaign. His painting Heaven's Gates won the people's choice award at last year’s Victorian Indigenous Arts Awards.
Ballarat is also hosting yarn bombing, song writing and trivia activities. GMHW launched on Monday night at BCH. Mental Health week builds to World Mental Health Day on Saturday.
