So they can nurture the garden into a community hub, the group is desperately seeking donation of second-hand recycled items so earthy garden beds can be constructed.
The garden, located near the playground, was developed in a bid to foster community engagement in the area which does not have a fruit and vegetable store.
YMCA community and youth engagement director Stacey Oliver said community help was needed to complete the project.
