Newly-formed Geelong City is set to make its debut in the Ballarat Geelong Premier Division pennant competition on Saturday.
The result of a merger between perennial powerhouse Geelong West and Drumcondra, Geelong City will take to the green for the first time as a new entity when it hosts Queenscliff in the opening round of the season.
Torquay will be the other new Geelong-based face in the premier division this season, set to be the first visiting side to play under Sebastopol's new $1 million roof.
In other matches, City Oval faces a stern test as it re-enters the premier division after taking out the division one title last last year.
The Hawks will meet Victoria, which fell agonisingly short of a fairtyale premier division victory last year.
Avenue is said to have lost a raft of key bowlers and could struggle on the road to Ocean Grove, while Webbcona will host Lara.
