Run Ballarat organisers have promised this year’s event will be bigger and better than before. They are set to deliver with an impressive new Events Village Festival, filled with activities, giveaways and entertainment. Pop princess and new soap star Samantha Jade, fresh from ‘Summer Bay’, is ready to rock City Oval.
Entries are on the rise with 4,600 participants confirmed late in the week with plenty more chance to still sign up. You can enter events until 8am at the registration area on the north side of the oval next to bag storage.
Run Ballarat has tallied more than $500,000 for Ballarat Health Services Base Hospital children’s ward redevelopment since 2012.
This is Ballarat’s largest community fun run, with participants treated to a special perspective of our streets among thousands on foot.
Time to get out, get active and muster up some fitness all for a good cause. The 12-kilometre run launches the event from 8.30am, followed by the 6km run (9.15am), 6km walk (9.25am) and Kids’ 1km run (11.15am).
