FORMER Ballarat Pride netballer Johanna Curran will return to the court with Melbourne Vixens next year.
The Vixens announced today that Curran had signed a one-year contract with the club after taking a season off from the ANZ Championships to recover from back injury.
Curran, who hails from Murray River town Robinvale, was recruited to the now-defunct Melbourne Phoenix in 2003 and played with the Vixens in their inaugural season in 2008.
The experienced then transferred and captained West Coast Fever from 2009-11.
Curran has represented Australia in open and 21/under divisions.
The 25-year-old is also a former Ballarat Grammar boarder.
