Mount Clear College student Brad Bogert is preparing to run for a cause close to his heart.
The Child Ambassador for Run Ballarat, Brad has been in and out of hospital since he was 12 months old with spine and kidney problems.
Having spent a good deal of time in the children’s ward of Ballarat Base Hospital he knows first-hand how more facilities can make a better stay for all the kids who use it.
It’s why Brad has been working with the Cotton On Foundation to promote the October 21 event which raises funds for the redevelopment of the ward.
As a Run Champion, Brad has also helped to get his school involved.
If they reach certain registration targets, the Cotton On Foundation will donate money to the school.
Brad said they hoped to have 500 students participating, which would see Run Ballarat donate $5000 to the college.
