Three teenage boys have been arrested after a man was allegedly punched in the face during an attempted robbery in Bentleigh earlier this month.

Police claim the man was approached by the three young men on Horsley Street near Jasper Road just after 4pm on Thursday November 5.
The trio allegedly asked the victim for money before one punched him. The boys then fled the scene empty -handed.
Caulfield police arrested two 15-year-old boys and a 17-year-old boy from Bentleigh on Wednesday morning after executing a search warrant at a house on Jasper Road.
After being interviewed, one of the 15-year-old boys was charged with assault with intent to rob and attempted robbery.
He has been bailed to appear at a children's court at a later date.
The other 15-year-old boy and the 17-year-old boy, were released pending further enquiries.
Earlier this month police released CCTV images in an effort to track down the alleged assailants and today they thanked the public for their assistance with the investigation.
