A cyclist has been hospitalised after a hit run in the Geelong suburb of Wandana Heights on Saturday.

Police say the man, in his 40s, was riding east along Barrabool Road when he was struck by a westbound car about 11.15am.
The driver fled the scene.
Ambulance Victoria spokesman John Mullen said the cyclist suffered head and back injuries.
He was flown to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
