The Peril of Beryl will be performed from Wednesday, with audiences asked to come along, boo, hiss and cheer to their heart’s content.
Featuring over-exaggerated characters, a damsel in distress and a villain, the play is described as a hilarious saucy musical melodrama.
The musical is written and directed by local playwright Carol B. Cole.
It will feature local cast members Roger Knight as Dick, Anthony Meehan as Horace the Horrible, Tessa Marshall as Beryl and Tim Drylie as narrator.
The Peril of Beryl will be staged until Saturday, December 5 at the Creswick Courthouse Theatre.
