TWO grassfires have sparked up again at Lucas this afternoon, both located off Cuthberts Road.

CFA Media confirmed the fires, which started up about 4.30pm, were under control before 5pm.
Twelve fire brigade units were dispatched to one fire, with another three sent to the other nearby, which burnt through about one hectare.
Last week’s grassfire at Lucas, also at Cuthberts Road but which burnt through 30ha, was treated as suspicious by police and CFA investigators.
