THE distraught family of missing Brown Hill woman Dianne Stevens have made an impassioned plea for the community not to give up the search for the 54-year-old.

Ms Stevens’s sister Sandra Crompton, fronted a press conference at the Dana Street police station on Monday, urging people to report any information to police.
Ms Crompton said the disappearance was “totally out of character” for her sister.
“We’ve heard no information from anyone, there are no leads whatsoever,” Ms Crompton said. “It is heart-wrenching, gut-wrenching... not knowing whether she is safe or where she is.”
She said the family was “struggling to cope”.
Ms Stevens went missing on Friday, November 6.
She was last seen leaving her home on Hillview Road at 10am on the date in question and has not been seen since.
Ms Stevens told her husband Gary she was going to work and left in a green Rav 4 wagon with a TNA 323 registration plate.
Ms Stevens was also carrying an overnight bag and has since failed to attend appointments.
“Word cannot describe the pain that is within us at this time,” Ms Crompton said. “Di if you are watching this, we just need to know that you are OK. We love you unconditionally. Just come home. We can work it out, whatever problems there are we can work through them. We are all here for you, never, ever doubt that.”
An image of Ms Stevens has been released in the hope that someone may have information on her current whereabouts. Ms Stevens is described as Caucasian in appearance with short brown hair and a solid build.
“If somebody knows something, please contact the police even if it is just to let us know she is OK,” Ms Crompton said.
She also urged Ms Stevens to reach out to somebody she trusted to let them know she was safe.
Ballarat Police Detective Sergeant Brett Caddy said the police had serious concerns about Ms Stevens’s welfare. Investigators believe she may frequent the Daylesford and St Arnaud areas.
“We would urge anyone with any information at all, no matter how minor, to please contact the police,” Detective Sergeant Caddy said.
