Beare from Mount Gambier will face stiff competition though, led by Victorian champion Brad McClure.
The Geelong driver is fresh from a win at Murray Bridge
“King of the Mount” has attracted more 60 entries, which also feature Darren Forrest, who was the points winner at the opening meet of the season at Redline earlier this month. He followed up that effort with a third at Murray Bridge.
West Australian Daniel Ameduri, Mick Dann, Morris Ahearn, Steven Watts, Megan Forrest, Ballarat’s Shaun Henry, brothers Mark and Steve Gartner (Mount Gambier), Jason Degoldi (Geelong), Lenny Bates (Melbourne), Matt Nelson and Chris Whatmore (Sebastopol) all add to a quality line-up for one of Belmont Speedway Drivers Club’s biggest meets of the season at Redline.
The program will also include open VSC sedans and Marsh modified sedans.
Gates open at 2pm with racing from 4pm.
