Police are hunting for a man in a fedora hat who allegedly sexually assaulted a 21-year-old woman on a bus in Melbourne's south-east.

The woman was travelling on a bus on Cranbourne-Frankston Road in Cranbourne West, just before 10am on October 25.
Police said a man wearing a fedora hat, dark top and dark pants sat down next to the woman and sexually assaulted her.
The bus driver stopped after hearing the woman scream and ejected the offender close to where he had boarded, police said.
The offender is believed to be aged in his early- to mid-30s. He is described as having a tanned complexion, solid build, dark shaved hair with blue eyes and a tattoo on his forearm.
Police have released a computer-generated image of a man they believe can assist them with their inquiries.
