The Ulysses Club’s annual toy run will see the motorcyclists ride from Buninyong though Ballarat to raise much needed funds and toys for the 3BA Christmas appeal.
Event organiser Sharryn Nankervis said the event helped break down negative perceptions of motorbike riders.
“You see big burly guys standing there with teddy bears, it’s great.”
Ms Nankervis said the event was open to motorcyclists from all walks of life, with all forms of motorcycle welcome to join the convoy which leaves the Crown Hotel car park at 10am.
A vintage car show will also be at the resting site at Vic Park, while spectators are encouraged to come along and enjoy the diverse range of motorcycles which will be on display.
Now in it’s 15th year supporting the 3BA Christmas Appeal, the toy ride is expected to raise around $3000 worth of toys and $2500 in cash donations.
