Daniel Fisher proved to be the cup’s most popular dresser among The Courier’s readers, edging out the 208-strong field.
The 26-year-old from Melbourne said the win came as a complete surprise, after his friends encouraged him to enter.
Mr Fisher sported a custom designed suit from South Yarra label SAM & KO on the day, but denied it was the highlight.
“It’s all in the beard, the suit’s just an accessory really.”
For his efforts Mr Fisher will receive a nine carat white gold circle of diamonds pendant, set with half a carat of brilliant cut diamonds, hanging on a nine carat white gold chain valued at $1350.
Mr Fisher said the impressive piece of jewellery would be given to his girlfriend.
Hamilton resident Helen Anton was the lucky recipient of the voters prize, and will take home a $500 voucher from Karington Jewellers.
