The program is renowned for providing mentoring in areas including event management, performance, technical production, marketing and publicity and music business.
Minister for Youth Affairs Jenny Mikakos said participants would take part in a series of tailored industry training and master classes to be able to successfully stage high profile events and a professionally produced recording project.
“More than 90 young people over the past three years have been assisted through this program, getting hands-on experience and establishing contacts and networks in the music industry,” she said.
Delivered by youth music organisation The Push, the mentoring program reaches around 30 young people a year, assisting them to consolidate their career opportunities in the music industry.
