12.55PM: Timothy Green has been excused and lunch is being taken.
12.45PM: Mr Green being grilled about a conversation in the Eureka Pool swimming pool about 40 years ago.
Mr Green claims he “blurted out” to Pell that he had been abused by priests.
Lawyers claim it is possible Pell didn’t hear the comment. Mr Green: “no, he answered me”.
Mr Green: “he said don’t be so ridiculous”.
12.40PM: Mr Green says Pell would have known his face from his primary school days at St Frances Xavier Primary School, Villa Maria in 1971 or 1972. Pell’s lawyers claim he didn’t move to Ballarat until 1973.
12.25PM: The second witness, survivor Timothy Green, has been called upon as a witness. Mr Ridsdale received applause when stepping down.
12.05PM: David Ridsdale says he attempted to make a police report in late 1980s, but hung up after saying uncle's name – convicted priest Gerard Ridsdale.
