HUNDREDS of children in need will experience the joy of Christmas, thanks to two Ballarat organisations.

Leadership Ballarat and Western Region (LBWR) have donated 180 gifts to the Child and Family Services (CAFS) Ballarat Christmas appeal, while Lake Imaging Ballarat donated almost 70 gifts and $2000 in food hampers.

LBWR chief executive Sofia Fiusco said leaders forum graduates, their families and friends donated the gifts.

“This time of year we are time poor but it’s nice to give something that will give joy to someone else,” Ms Fiusco said.

CAFS chief executive officer Allan Joy said: “The reality is that without the support of the community, CAFS would not be able to assist families and individuals who turn to them during Christmas”.
