WE have been blessed with the most beautiful weather today. It’s funny how much of a difference a bit of sun makes. Everyone in our office is bouncing around with big smiles on their face and hanging out for the end of work to catch some rays!
Why not embrace the "good feeling" and treat yourself to dinner? The Unicorn Hotel has only recently reopened and now offers delicious meals from Wednesday through to Sunday night.
Inside the hotel, the history is beautiful and if you're up for just an afternoon coffee, they have live music playing from 3pm every day.
Otherwise why not head along to the Ballarat and District Trotting Club the catch some racing from 6pm? Entry costs $8 for an adult or $4 for a child.
As for me, my sisters are in town for the night before the hens so we will be setting up lots of games, making jelly shots and perfecting our costumes!
Feature event
Dinner at the history-packed Unicorn Hotel or head along to the trots. Details above.
Something to listen to
Karova Lounge, on the corner Field and Camp streets, is featuring Space Bong, Nobody Knew They Were Robots and Nous from 8.30pm. Entry costs $6.
Something at the cinema
Looper is screening at 4.25pm, 6.45pm and 9pm.
Ruby Sparks is screening at 4pm, 6.25pm and 8.35pm. Or head along to a Gold Class session at 8pm.
The Watch is screening at 9.10pm.
Something on the TV
One of my favourite TV shows is on tonight and it only happens one time every year - the AFL Footy Show finale. It airs on WIN at 8.30pm. It's always hilariously funny and packed with funny acts performed by players.
