THREE people were arrested after a raid on a number of properties near Ballarat this week.
Detectives from the Moorabool Investigation Unit executed warrants on properties in Grays Road, Broomfield, and Newstead-Creswick Road, Allendale.
They seized military ordnance, liquid mercury, firearms, ammunition and a small quantity of drugs.
Two men, aged 45 and 41, and a 38-year-old woman were charged with a number of offences including possess proceeds of crime, possess a drug of dependence and firearms offences.
All three were bailed to appear before the Ballarat Magistrates' Court on November 12.
Detective Senior Constable Leigh Discher said military ordnance remained the property of the Australian Army and urged any one with similar materials to contact police.
"These items are extremely hazardous and can be dangerous in the wrong hands," he said.
"We want to get them off the street and safely disposed of."
