VICTORIA’S up and coming triathletes are in Ballarat this week for the Triathlon Victoria Development Program.
The athletes have been making use of Ballarat’s sporting facilities since Wednesday, and will continue training in the area until tomorrow.
Coaching director Neil Brewster has been working with seven other coaches to help prepare the 35 athletes for the coming season.
“The season starts in four to six weeks,” Brewster said.
“This is our last camp before the season gets underway. After this we just have training days.”
The athletes have worked on their swimming at UB, their running at Lake Esmond and on their cycling at the Ballarat Sebastopol Cycling Club Velodrome at Marty Bush Reserve and the Mt Buninyong road circuit.
