Model Heidi Klum was looking particularly ridiculously good looking when she arrived at Myer to share her wisdom on boob shape, wrong bra sizes and G-strings.

It's no wonder the German beauty had the aroma of Zoolander 2 after her Blue Steel moment with star Ben Stiller at the movie's premiere in Sydney on Tuesday.

Klum solved one of Instagram's great mysteries when telling Fairfax Media: "I really believe that he's the one who started this whole duck face." As the old wive's tale goes: "If the wind blows, you might stay like that."

The model starred in the first Zoolander as herself, so she's the authority on duck face starting 15 years ago with Derek Zoolander.

Klum declared in her sexy Arnold Schwarzenegger intonation "I'll be back" and she was right because it was exactly a year to the day that she was back in the Bourke Street Mall to launch the new collection of her Intimates lingerie range with Bendon.

In the old days of the bra fitter, women bent forward and shook their breasts into the cups and it was reassuring that Klum endorsed this method.

While most women dream of flicking off their bra after a long day, Klum sometimes wears one to bed but it's minus underwire. "It keeps your boobs in better shape for longer." Memo to self: don't flick off bra.

One thing women over 35 crave is an elasticised waistband so the last thing they want is to wear a G-string all day, preferring "nanna undies", but Klum wears a G-string all the time. "I can't wear anything but a G-string," she revealed.

Apparently, we copy what our mothers do and hers obviously didn't know the joy of Bonds bloomers.

Klum's Intimates range includes the styles "A Corp Perdus", which conjures the corpse pose in yoga but in seductive get-up, and "Paradise Promise". This allows women from Craigieburn to Camberwell to dream that they have scissor-lift legs and a cute German accent.

A long list of celebrities ranging from Kylie Minogue, Dita Von Teese, Gisele Bundchen and Britney Spears have launched ranges of bras and knickers and the motto for those joining the lingerie limbo appears to be "Oops, I did it again".

As Klum says Terminator-style on the American reality TV show Project Runway: "In the fashion world, one day you're in, the next day you're out!"

Australian-born but globally accented Elle Macpherson felt the "out" and "ouch" when Bendon ended its 25-year association with her for the Intimates range and anointed Klum in 2015.

The lingerie industry is worth $197 million annually in Australia and a report by business information analysts IBISWorld shows New Zealand-based Bendon trails in fourth place with a 5.2 per cent market share after Bras N Things, Cotton On and Pacific Brands.

Supermodels lending their name to lingerie ranges is not just about giving them longevity after their career on the catwalk is over.

The IBISWorld report says Bendon has performed solidly over the past five years, with revenue rising 21.2 per cent through 2015-16, and out-performed the industry due its relationships with Macpherson and now Klum.

Klum has branched into swimwear with her Heidi Klum Swim range that will be stocked in Myer from July and will compete with the department store's "face", Jennifer Hawkins, and her COZI range.

Ladies, it's time for a sigh of relief because supermodel Heidi Klum really is just like us. She hates exercise but loves the result of a pancake-free derriere.
