Star Chamber from the Burrumbeet stable of Michael Stanley and It Is Billy, trained by Michael Barby at Daylesford, have also gained starts in the standing start event headlined by Ballarat Pacing Cup winner and Victoria Cup runner-up Smolda.
The Emma Stewart-trained Yankee Rockstar rounded off his preparation with a tough win in an M1-M3 pace at Melton on Saturday – rating 1:52.2 for 1720m.
The five-year-old has progressed this season, with a third in the Shepparton Gold Cup two starts ago showing he is ready for the step required to tackle the Hunter Cup.
Star Chamber confirmed there is a feature race in him with a second to Ohoka Punter in the $20,000 Pure Steel at Melton in only his second outing for Stanley.
For It Is Billy, this continues a big campaign which has seen him in the Shepparton Cup, Ballarat Cup and Victoria in the past three weeks.
