‘Mrs RainyDay’ Sophie Parker said community rescue organisations supported each other and were all passionate about their work.
“There are a lot of animals in the community that need loving homes and they’re not all in shelters but community foster care networks,” Ms Parker said.
PETstock Ballarat Central acting assistant manager Luke Terrill said the state-wide event helped educate pet owners and raise awareness of rescue animals. Rescue workers will be in stores Saturday, 10am-2pm.
