Police will today continue to formally identify human remains found in a burnt-out vehicle.
The Ford station wagon was found torched in heavy bushland just off Codes Forest Road in Glen Park yesterday.
Police say a passer-by saw smoke at 8.50am and called triple zero immediately.
CFA units attended and discovered the body inside the vehicle once the flames were extinguished.
Police were called and a crime scene was established.
Specialist police units from the Arson and Explosives Squad and an Arson Squad chemist arrived later in the day to assist with investigations.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
