A NEW bus will make life a whole lot easier for members of the Creswick Senior Citizens Club.

After 14 years using an older bus, a new vehicle was presented to the club on Friday following lots of fundraising and some handy donations.
In particular a donation from the Creswick and District Community Bendigo Bank got the club over the line.
The club’s treasurer Norah Stubbs said the bus was used to pick up members from around Creswick and surrounding areas.
“A lot of our people are on frames and walking sticks, so it means even the ones that live closer to Creswick can attend,” she said.
“”We can ferry them around and take them to outings.
“We have a lunch once a month and 50 or more members attend.”
Ms Stubbs said the fundraising had been a team effort throughout the past few years.
“It takes a lot of work, we got it and we are most appreciative of it,” she said.
