Build a bank, block the highway – flood plan aims to protect Bridgewater residents

Levee banks would be built along the Loddon River and a temporary levee installed across the Calder Highway before floodwaters hit, under a plan to avoid a repeat of the devastating 2011 flood which smashed the town of Bridgewater.
