BALLARAT Community Health is urging more people to cook simple homemade meals to achieve a healthy weight. BHC chief executive officer Robyn Reeves has thrown her support behind Ballarat mayor Des Hudson and his public campaign, #fitmayor2016, making small lifestyle changes.

The mayor started the year with daily exercise and this month met with a dietitian to help him eat better.
“What mayor Hudson is doing is a great reminder for us all,” Ms Reeves said. “Get outside, walk a bit more, eat a bit better. It isn’t rocket science but it does make a difference.”
Ms Reeves encouraged people to follow the mayor’s example.
