After what seems like centuries, but is in fact only decades, My Kitchen Rules has finally bid farewell to the instant restaurant rounds, and like an addict forced to go cold turkey, now commences shivering and sweating through the "Kitchen Headquarters" portion of the series, which you'll remember from previous seasons as the bit where everyone wearily plods through a transparent MasterChef rip-off until at some point in the future two teams are forced to take turns pretending they've won, before finding out who actually won by watching themselves on TV.
