WOW, there certainly are a lot of passionate car owners in Ballarat.
Through The Courier’s iPhone app, readers were asked to supply a photograph of their car and explain why it should be voted Ballarat’s Hottest Car.
In just days, dozens of photographs were received through the app. Photographs of new and old, standard and customised cars came flooding into The Courier.
One of those who thinks his car should be voted Ballarat’s Hottest Car is Brett Mould, the proud owner of a 1955 FJ Holden.
The distinctive raspberry-coloured FJ, complete with its matching grey and raspberry interior and hand-made wheels, has been in Brett’s family for 20 years.
Brett’s much-loved Holden is just one car to feature in a two-page spread of photographic entries into Ballarat’s Hottest Car competition.
All entries will also form part of an online gallery where Ballarat can vote for their favourite mean machine. The winner will receive free movie tickets.
