MYLES Sewell has collected another Allen L Stott Memorial Medal.
The onballer won his third North Ballarat Roosters’ senior best and fairest in four years with a runaway victory over Michael Searl and Nick Couch.
Sewell topped the count with 245 votes, a massive 63 clear of Searl and a further 45 ahead of Couch.
He polled in 12 of the Roosters’ matches during the year in another standout campaign.
The 24-year-old was a medallist in 2009 – the same season he claimed the JJ Liston Trophy as the Victorian Football League best and fairest – and again last year.
Sewell was presented with his award at the Roosters’ gala presentation evening on Saturday night.
Ruckman Sam Conroy won the Hugh McDonald Memorial Trophy after snatching a one-vote victory in the reserves’ best and fairest count. He was clear of best senior first-year player Coleman Schache and Ben Evans.
The night was also a chance for the club and its supporters to pay tribute to retired captain Marc Greig.
Greig stepped down from playing duties at the end of the season after three senior premierships and more than 200 games with the club.
He also played in a TAC Cup flag with the Rebels in 1997 and a reserves triumph in 1999.
Meanwhile, Jamie Barnes and Daniel Jones were named joint best clubmen, Searl was judged the most valuable teammate and Chris Giampaolo won the senior encouragement award.
