First-year players Angus Cleary and Joe Symons have been named with Mitch Rodd, who has been rewarded for persistence after a lengthy period battling injury.
Cleary and Rodd replace the injured duo of Louis Herbert (hamstring) and Tony Lockyer (ankle), while Symons steps into the role of 23rd player last round held down Nick Hausler. He returns to the North Ballarat Rebels.

Cleary and Joe Symons each played with the Rebels last season, with Symons getting a taste of the VFL as 23rd player for the Roosters.
Rodd from Ballarat Swans has been on the Roosters’ list for three seasons, but has been unable to put together a consistent run of games becausr of injury.
He missed last year with a tibia stress fracture.
Cleary has been named at full back, with Rodd in a back pocket in a reshuffled line-up. Symons starts on interchange.
