Here’s a look at what’s making news around Ballarat this weekend.
Today’s front page by reporter Melissa Cunningham looks at a radical right-wing political party that promotes racism which has taken official steps to use the Eureka Flag as an emblem on its election ballot papers.

In other news police are searching for public assistance to help locate missing 80-year-old Ronald Manneke-Jones.
Ronald was last seen at his home address on McDonalds Street in Ararat on 21 April at 2pm.
It is believed he has an overnight bag with some clothing in it and may be headed to the Margate area.
He is described as 175cm tall with a slim build, white short straight hair, moustache, glasses and a tanned complexion.
Police and family have concerns for Ronald’s welfare as he missed a doctor appointment on Friday
Police have released an image of Ronald in the hope that someone may have information on his current whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Ronald is urged to contact Ararat Police Station on 5355 1500.

Don’t forget Monday is Anzac Day. We have compiled a list of dawn and commemorative services around the region here.
In preparation of the Anzac Day dawn service both west bound lanes on Sturt Street between Lyons and Dawson Streets will be closed between 1-4.30pm on Sunday.
Sturt Street will be closed from Dawson to Raglan Streets in both directions on Monday between 4.30am-3pm
Lydiard Street North from Mair to Sturt Street will also be closed from 6.30-11am.
Sturt Street and all intersecting streets will be progressively closed from 10.15am and will re-open as soon as the march passes.
