Ms Parsons died suddenly of a brain aneurysm last week, but the company feels they must finish their run to honour her work.

Their April Production – A Trio Of One Act Plays, written by Ballarat playwright Greg Roberts, are hilarious romps of double-talk and plenty of misunderstanding. Each of the plays has an intriguing twist in the tale.

In Three Wise Monkeys, two couples come to dine and sort out their lives.  The restaurant is hardly booked out, but the staff seem to have a difficult time coping. The fish is off, one waiter can’t see, another can’t hear and customers keep changing places at the tables – what could possibly go wrong? Three Wise Monkeys features Michael Clark, Meg Ford, Alistair George, Scott Mapstone and Carol Hoffmann.

Doctor’s Dilemma sees patients thrown together in the waiting room for a brief moment in time. Can their encounters change their lives?  It’s a bad day at the doctor’s surgery, patients are dropping like flies and nobody is who they seem to be. Doctor’s Dilemma features Tim Drylie, Esther Hawkes, Margaret Long, Jenni Sewell and Bill Weidner.

The award-winning Catfish Jumping follows the twists and turns of a police investigation.  

Set in a police interrogation room, someone’s been stabbed in the back. Who did it? Was it the not-so grieving widow, the astral-travelling maid or the gardener who talks to cats? Will it be the wily Inspector or his offsider who find out whodunit? Catfish Jumping features Ulrich Babst, Andrew O’Connell, Ellen Scott, Tracey Sleet and Cheryl Wakeham.

Experienced Creswick director Kerith Holmes brings together five characters in each play and has them weave their convoluted stories.
