Boost for rural health care

REGIONAL Victorians have been granted a $200 million investment for the development of a new Regional Health Infrastructure fund. More than $6 million has been allocated for a new 18-20 bed drug and alcohol facility in the Grampians region, with a further $132 million allocated state-wide for clinical mental health services and $57.3 million for vulnerable children and their families.  A Wimmera Cancer Centre will receive a $1 million state government contribution with funds also set for public residential aged care.
