AFL personality and former gambling addict David Schwarz is supporting a Golden Plains Shire council initiative to raise awareness of problem gambling. The council, with Mr Schwarz, will host Gambling is Not a Game, a session to help the community understand dangers in the normalisation of gambling. The event will be held in partnership with ReSPIN Gambling Awareness and Ballarat Child and Family Services on June 6 in Bannockburn.
