The win provided the Lakers with a welcome percentage boost to consolidate their position at the top of the table, with a five goal third term providing the decisive buffer to win 88-10.
In the other match for round three the Maryborough Castlemaine District Football League side proved too strong for Kyneton, cruising to a 45 point triumph 66-21.
The win ensures the Lions maintain touch with the top spot with two wins for the season.
