The Hepburn player was recently selected as part of the Victorian under-15 team which will compete in School Sport Australia’s Australian Football Championships to be held in Maroochydore in July.
The forward who was one of three on the North Ballarat Rebels youth girls rookie list to be named in the starting 25, and for her efforts has been named The Courier’s Junior Sports Star of the Week.
Rebels youth girls coach Jeff Whittaker said the Daylesford Secondary College student had shown enourmous dedication to the sport despite since joining the Rebels extended list.
“She works really hard at training, and I’ve got no doubt she'll be on the Rebels main list fairly shortly.”
