I could hear the emotion, the anger and the passion that was Pink Floyd’s musical vision.
- Keyboard player Paul Bindig
Tribute group Experience Floyd aims to ensure every aspect of the beloved band’s music is “captured authentically”. Ballarat performer Stella Savvy’s Mini Mona’s children’s choir will perform Another Brick in the Wall with the band.
Keyboard and synthesiser player Paul Bindig said he had been a fan of Pink Floyd since he was a teenager.
“I couldn’t believe music like this could even exist, much less begin to imagine I’d ever be lucky enough to play in a band that does music of this beauty and complexity, justice,” he said.
“I could hear the emotion, the anger and the passion that was Pink Floyd’s musical vision from that era and it resonated with something deep inside me.”
Experience Floyd will perform at the the Wendouree Centre for Performing Arts on Saturday. Tickets at www.wcpa.com.au
