This Sunday, the Ballarat Market will hold its Mother’s Day Busking Titles, encouraging all talented folk to take up the challenge against the city’s best.

Admission is free for all competing buskers, with organisers supplying a free site with power if required.

Single artists or groups of up to four are welcome, with $250 in prize money up for grabs.

Successful buskers may also be offered ongoing paid work at the market, located at the Ballarat Showgrounds.

Buskers are asked to report to the office at the main gate by 9am for site allocation. Judging will take place between 10.30am and 11am.
