King has not played a senior match for the club this season following knee surgery, but has got through some good game time in the under-20s in recent weeks.
Red Devils manager James Robinson said King was “fighting fit”.
“It’s fantastic for the club and himself because he’s worked really hard since his operation,” Robinson said.
Goal-keeper Aaron Romein will return to his place between the posts after Michael Trigger took the gloves in last weekend’s 1-0 victory on the road to Goulburn Valley Suns.
A good run of form sees Ballarat fifth on the National Premier Leagues Victoria 2 west division table and chasing a fifth-straight victory.
Following a 5-2 defeat at the hands of Whittlesea Ranges, the Eastern Lions are also fifth, but in the east division of the competition.
Saturday night’s clash kicks off from 6pm at Morshead Park.
